What’s this? A non sweet item? Well, it qualifies because you have to bake it!
Actually, I just love this recipe and had to share it with you… I love casseroles because they are easy and comforting; and nothings screams comfort more than macaroni and cheese. This recipe is great because it’s hearty, the kids will love it and it’s got great ingredients that almost remind me of a Greek dish. Cinnamon and nutmeg. Why is it that sweet and salty foods go so well together? There is a question I ask everyday.
This dish while it appears to be simple, it requires a little time to prepare it. It’s not a “throw it in the dish and bake” kind of meal, so plan ahead. The reward for your time, is seeing your family say, “WOW, make that again please!!”

BAKE 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.
I hope that you enjoy this as much as my family does. Cheers!
