Memorial day is about just that, and these cupcakes would make a great addition for this important day. I just used a basic vanilla cake and put vanilla frosting on it. Decorated in traditional red, white and blue fashion! Add some petite flags and some military men to the stand for effect. Also, the top three cupcakes carry the yellow ribbon.
